Just a yesterday, Nigeria and Africa’s biggest industrialist and business man, Alh. Aliko Dangote celebrated his 60th birthday. For many people, it’s a big milestone achieved but for us here in Nigeria, It’s a revitalization of our minds that we will surely survive. Most especially for Naija bakers, Its an exhibition!
Before I proceed to show you my dear reader what I mean and how I mean it, I’d love to give you a brief introduction of this man that has kept Nigeria’s flag high… Wikipedia puts it this way..
“Aliko Dangote GCON (born 10 April 1957) is a Nigerian billionaire, who owns the Dangote Group, which has interests in commodities. The company operates in Nigeria and other African countries, including Benin, Ethiopia, Senegal, Cameroon, Ghana, South Africa, Togo, Tanzania, and Zambia. As of February 2017, he had an estimated net worth of US$12.5 billion.
Dangote is ranked by Forbes magazine as the 67th richest person in the world and the richest in Africa; he peaked on the list as the 23rd richest person in the world in 2014. He surpassed Saudi-Ethiopian billionaire Mohammed Hussein Al Amoudi in 2013 by over $2.6 billion to become the world’s richest person of African descent”
Now you know where I am going to… Ok let me not bore you with history and facts, Just feed your eyes with the 2017 exhibition of cakes held by Naija bakers in honor of this man….
All these cakes eventually got to him and he had this to say to the entire Nigerians all over the world..
